Seeing Red - Something Funny for Money

A week ago today saw lots of people in the UK sitting on their sofas  watching Comic Relief or Red Nose Day on the telly. Another brilliant year - with some brilliant comedy sketches encouraging us to dig deep into our pockets and donate some of our hard earned cash to really deserving causes here in the UK and in Africa. It is truly amazing to see so many people Doing Something Funny For Money.

It is not too late to donate - the lovely people at Comic Relief are still collecting money - and one of the ways you can do this is through the

Why not pop over and take a look at what some of  the CRAFTfest stalls have been up to and maybe make a donation - you can help change lives.

Over the last week, my blogs have showcased some of the stalls from the fabulous Purple Team at Craftfest. As a celebration for Red Nose Day's success, I thought I'd take a look through the rest of the Purplies for some lovely red themed goodies. I found loads and loads - ok some are a little more on the pink side, but hey, pink is just a girlie red.

Just click on the stall names to go to their stalls.

And finally, just in case you didn't see it on the CRAFTfest Giving Page - here is The Old Button Red Nose Day Quilt -  I used a Jelly Roll Race technique to create this random line quilt top and I'm going to add a red border, cotton wadding and backing to create a Really Red Nose lap quilt. I'll be offering this as a prize draw - just donate on the Old Button section of the Craftfest Giving Page and message me your details by the end of March to be in for a chance of winning this. Just click on the link below to go to my Craftfest page where you can find out more
